Once you visit Kuala Lumpur, you will fall in love with the capital city of Malaysia. This city has a lot to offer to the world. Taking a cab is the preferred way to travel around the city because of cheap taxi rates. However, if you hate traffic, then Malaysia’s city train is recommended.

The best place to start exploring Kuala Lumpur is to get to the top of the Petronas Tower early in the morning. Buy your ticket the day before you go because they only sell limited number of tickets per day. If you didn’t catch the elevator up to the top of the tower, visit the lovely ambiance of Kuala Lumpur’s Lake Garden. If you are a big fan of Lego, head early to Johor Bahru, which is a four hour drive from KL to see Legoland.

Kuala Lumpur is probably the second best place to shop in Asia especially with H&M; it’s a bit cheaper here when compared to H&M Hong Kong. You can also find H&M in Bukit Bintang. For other brands; Pavillion Mall is the right place for a one stop shopping extravaganza. There are many restaurants to eat authentic Malay food scattered around Kuala Lumpur. The best place to eat is in the Petalling Street where Chinatown is located.

If you were amazed with the stunning Petronas Tower during the day, wait till you see the breathtaking tower at night. At around 7 to 8pm, wait in front of the Suria KLCC mall where the fountain is located and watch the musical dancing fountain display. If you want to experience night shopping in Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion and Mid-Valley Malls are a must visit.
